in the end, it was just useless worrying.
the (rain) storm that was supposed to knock out our power,
trap us in our homes
and flood our streets
turned out to be not much more than a day of heavy rain.
and the (attitude) storm that was supposed to have my children knocking each other out,
trapping one another in head locks
causing their mother's eyes to flood with tears,
turned out to be not much more than a day of heavy bickering.
guess you can't always depend on the forecast.

Although i appreciate the heads up when a tidal wave is going to wipe out San Francisco or an Earth Quake in our near future that will once and for all plummet California into the ocean. I really hate the hype of the news forecast, all it does is gets me in a panic and i end up buying all the beer at my local quickie-mart!
