nothing nice to say

yesterday M decided that it was time for K to give up his bobo (pacifier).

so at nap time K threw a hairy fit for about two hours and then finally went to sleep after his father bribed him with chocolate.

today daddy is at work.

K has been in his crib for an hour and a half now and there is no sign of sleep in sight. he has pulled of his diaper, thrown his blankets, pillows, stuffed animals and socks on the floor and has been wailing, crying, screaming off and on for most of the time.

he is only quiet right now because i bribed him with pancakes.

i am ready to jump off the roof.

or maybe i'll just throw daddy off the roof.

don't you love it when the dad decides to make a decision but you have to deal with it. Oh, I think you deserve a shot of volka and a cigarette or a little toke (if you know what I mean). Cheers and best of luck.

Oh, lord, he didn't!

We had a ceremony for ours - it sounds hokey as all get-out but we bought a fancy box (I think I got it at the dollar store) put all the nooks inside and set it outside for the paccy fairy, so she could come and give them to all the babies.

But you have to wait until he's ready to do that, and it doesn't sound like he is!!

(Word of warning: Don't let anyone else babysit him while he's growing out of his nook. My SIL 'helpfully' showed Rosey she could suck her thumb instead.)

Yeah.

Oh you have my sympathy. Good luck with it. Or ask the dad to take back his decision.

First time visiting your blog. Interesting. I enjoyed it.
